Enock Mwepu leaves Zambia squad and returns to Brighton

Enock Mwepu is on his way back to England after his last international trip was cut short.

The Zambian midfielder misses back-to-back friendlies against Mali.

Albion confirmed that Mwepu is not well and will be flying back to that country at the weekend.

His aim will now be availability for a return to Anfield, the scene of his season’s goal-winner last season.

Tariq Lamptey made his Ghana debut when he came on after 72 minutes in a 3-0 friendly defeat by Brazil in Le Havre last night.

All three goals came in the first half. Neymar, who didn’t score, played the full 90 for Brazil.
