Enter Yondershire in the latest Bullroarer Beta for The Lord of the Rings Online

Bullroarer is open to the today Lord of the rings online with a fresh character wipe for the test server and the first chance to explore the new Yondershire. The recently announced The Shire expansion covers the mysterious section known as the home of loners and hobbits with a mystery.

Along with being able to jump into the Shire’s first expansion in years, there have been several class changes covering the Beorning, Brawler, Guardian and Champion, but the highlight of the class changes is the extensive changes to Minstrel. While the changes to Beorning and Brawler are description and text changes, as well as fixed skill icons, Minstrel has extensive mechanical changes in what looks like a long overdue overhaul.

Song of the Hammerhand’s base bubble has been reduced from 80% to 35% due to the bubble being too strong. Most attacks have base skill damage changes. Changes also affect several traits, including Inspirational Finish and Encouraged Finish, as well as Finesse. The latter gets a new name, Song of Arda, and grants up to 25% Light damage. Overall, the changes to Minstrel seem to make the class more viable in the current game, removing redundancies and just making everything make more sense. The rework should definitely help and the community seems excited to test this out

The rest of the beta update includes changes to crafting to improve bonuses, handy things like proper stacking, and some text updates as well. Quests and Adventure Areas are also among the majority of updates in these Beta Notes, with fixes like the Pit of Stonejaws Dwarf-Wights as part of the Fate of Gundabad Expansion with updated animations and now spawn from their sarcophagi.

With much of the content in the Lord of the rings online will soon be accessible to many more players without restrictions, the upcoming changes and additions should add some fine-tuning.
