ANDROID phones have secret codes that can speed up functions.

Most users are not aware of this at all.

They are known as USSD codes (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) and are programmed into the phone’s SIM card.

They look like a random combination of numbers and symbols.

But they can be used by tech-savvy Android owners to do all sorts of things without having to enter any settings.

Most of the codes work on Android phones, but some of them even work on Apple iPhones.

This is how I use USSD codes on my Android

First open the dialer of the device in which you are making the call.

Then enter the code you want to use.

As simple as that.

Some codes are loaded automatically, others require you to press the call button.

• #*#426#*#: A code that allows you to run a Google Play diagnostic.
• *#0228#: This code indicates the battery status of the device.

• *#*#1472365#*#*: This code will trigger a GPS test to verify that it is working properly in case it is lost or stolen.
