Erik ten Hag has been named as Manchester United’s next manager

New Manchester United Manager Eric ten Hag is on the way to becoming the highest paid Dutch coach First League Story.

The 52-year-old has officially confirmed as the next boss of the Red Devils, take charge at the end of this season, replacing the interim manager Ralph Rangnik. Ten Hag who will go ajax back to five brilliant years with the Amsterdam giants, is poised to pocket staggering wages his three-year contract until June 2025.

Recent claims from the Netherlands suggest the highly regarded coach will earn more than the established compatriot Louis van Gaal took home when he was appointed manager of United in 2014. This means Ten Hag’s wages – which are currently unconfirmed – would top £3.3million, as reported by De telegraph.

However, money is not an issue for the Ajax boss whose family already is one of the richest in Holland thanks to her real estate company and several other financial companies. However, Ten Hag is focused on football and takes on arguably the most challenging job of the game at elite level.

“I know the history of this great club and the passion of the fans and I am absolutely committed to building a team capable of achieving the success they deserve. It will be difficult to win Ajax after these incredible years left, and I can insure ours.” Fans for my full commitment and focus on bringing this season to a successful conclusion before I join Manchester United.”

After leading the search for a successor to interim boss Rangnick, United’s director of football, John Murtough, Added: “Over the past four years at Ajax, Erik has proven to be one of the most exciting and successful coaches in Europe, known for attractive, attacking football and his side’s commitment to youth.

“In our discussions with Erik leading up to this appointment, we were deeply impressed by his long-term vision to bring Manchester United back to the level at which we aim to compete and by his drive and determination to achieve that. We wish Erik the best of luck as he focuses on completing the season successfully at Ajax and look forward to welcoming him to Manchester United this summer.”
