ESO Patch Notes: The 5 Biggest Changes in Update 1.28.2

A SMALL but important update has been released for the console versions of The Elder Scrolls Online.

The Elder Scrolls Online recently added the High Isle in a major update, and this patch attempts to fix and streamline some aspects of it.

Tales of Tribute is one of High Isle's biggest features.

This update is only available for the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game, as a separate patch for the PC version was released earlier this week.

We’ll walk you through the biggest additions and changes made by this update and how they affect your experience.

Tales of Tribute is changing – ESO

One of the most significant parts of the High Isle has had some adjustments made this patch.

Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date: Fans have warned that the Skyrim sequel is YEARS away
Skyrim fans rejoice - Elder Scrolls Online finally brings dragons to slay

Such things are especially needed with the upcoming Lost Depths DLC.

Fixed some issues related to daily quests and cursor aiming mode not disappearing when you’re done with a match.

Daily quests now give more Tales of Tribute Club Rank experience. You now get 25, 50, or 75 experience depending on victory.

Tideborn Taleria

This boss has received a small but significant change. Changed the active combat text to refer to the correct name.

Rather than listing a “Tideborn tale as old as time,” it correctly refers to the Tideborn Taleria.

Ember unconcealed

A general change for those who like to dye their outfits as the Ember color option is no longer hidden behind a menu box.

Champion System Refunds

When the High Isle update was released, several champion abilities were changed to reduce their champion point costs.

If you already purchased any of these abilities prior to the cost reduction, you will now be refunded Champion Points to reflect the new cost of those abilities.

Warrior’s reputation has been fixed

This quest has had a minor fix as Titus Valerius, the quest giver, will follow you normally while in the ruined library.
