Hollywood actress and voice actor Estelle Harris has passed away, her family has confirmed.
The American star’s family have confirmed that she passed away on Saturday April 2, 2022 at the age of 93.
Estelle is best known for her role as Estelle Costanza on the hit comedy Seinfeld – and has been recognized by millions around the world as the voice of Mrs. Potato Head in the Toy Story film series.
Her family released a statement Saturday announcing her sad death and that she died of natural causes in Palm Desert, California.

This was revealed by her son Glen Harris in a statement to Deadline: “It is with the utmost regret and sadness that we announce that Estelle Harris passed away at 6:25pm this evening
“Her kindness, passion, sensitivity, humor, empathy and love were virtually unrivaled and she will be terribly missed by all who knew her.”
Estelle was born on April 4, 1928 in New York City and moved to Tarentum, Pennsylvania with her family when she was seven years old.
Her acting career began after she got married, welcomed her children and their children were growing up in the 1970s.
She debuted in a 1977 production called Looking Up and is best known for her supporting role as Estelle Costanza on Seinfeld, in which she appeared in 27 episodes between 1992 and 1998.
She appeared on a number of high profile TV shows throughout the 80’s, 90’s and beyond, appearing in episodes of Law & Order, Star Trek: Voyager and ER.

While working as a voice actress, she has appeared in a number of TV animations, including Kim Possible and Futurama.
She joined the cast of the Toy Story franchise as Mrs. Potato Head in 1999 – with her retaliation for the role in Toy Story 4 being her final credit in 2019.
Tributes to Estelle have flooded social media following the sad news of her death.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “It is with great sadness to hear the news that Estelle Harris has passed away. I will personally remember her roles in Toy Story 2 and The Suite Life.”
And another tweeted: “We lost an OG tonight. Rest in peace with Estelle Harris, a woman of talent, charisma and beauty.”
Estelle met her future husband, a window decoration salesman named Sy, in 1952 and they married six months later.
They welcomed three children together, a son named Eric born in 1957, a second son named Glen born in 1961 and a daughter named Taryn born in 1964.
The actress is survived by her three children, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
