Euromillions result: A UK ticket holder hits a record-breaking £184 million jackpot

A UK ticket holder has hit a record-breaking £184 million Euromillions jackpot.

The EuroMillions winning numbers were 3, 25, 27, 28 and 29 – plus the Lucky Star numbers 4 and 9.
A ticket that matched all seven numbers to win £184,262,899.10.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “What an amazing night for a UK ticket holder to hit the incredible £184 million EuroMillions jackpot – he is the UK National Lottery’s biggest winner of all time .

“Players are urged to check their tickets and give us a call if they think they are tonight’s lucky winner.”

The £184million mega prize could see the lucky winner wealthier than a host of famous faces including the Prince of Darkness.

The win dwarfs the estimated £150m worth of Black Sabbath rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon.

An anonymous winner currently holds the title, having pocketed a whopping £170million in October 2019.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “This massive sum could not only transform a winner’s life, but would make a huge difference to their friends, family and community.”

If nobody had matched the five numbers and two lucky stars tonight, the money would have risen to almost £197million on Friday.

Mr Carter added earlier today: “My team and I are keeping our fingers crossed for all the UK players and are on standby.

“Get your ticket early.”
