European country drops all Covid rules for Brits

DENMARK is the latest country to drop all of its Covid rules for Brits – regardless of their vaccination status.
In February, Denmark dropped the obligation to show vaccinated Britons Proof of a negative Covid test enter.
Unvaccinated Britons were still required to take a Covid test within 24 hours of arrival.
However, as of yesterday, no one has to do any Covid tests or quarantine upon arrival in Denmark.
Additionally, travelers will no longer have to wear face masks or use Covid passes to enter bars or restaurants.
The rule change makes Denmark the first EU country to lift all pandemic-related restrictions, following in the UK’s footsteps.


The Foreign Office website has been updated to state: “There are no Covid-19-related requirements regarding testing or self-isolation when entering Denmark.”
The Danish authorities reserve the right to reintroduce travel restrictions at short notice if new Covid variants are discovered.
Accordingly local mediaA Health Ministry spokesman said: “The so-called ‘handbrake’ can be activated if worrisome variants emerge.
“The handbrake is currently not activated for any countries.”
It’s more good news for Brits with holiday plans as a growing number of popular destinations ease Covid rules.
Spain has Dropped Covid testing and quarantine rules for anyone who has mild symptoms of the virus or is asymptomatic.
the Canary Islands – including Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria – working without Covid restrictions for the first time since the pandemic began.


Gibraltar has abolished all testing rules along with the requirement that arrivals fill out a passenger locator form.
And the The Maldives has halted all Covid testing for Brits, regardless of their vaccination status.
