If you are planning a trip make sure to check entry requirements before booking a holiday as destinations served by Eurostar still have Covid travel rules for Brits.

For example, the Netherlands is currently only open to fully vaccinated travelers, while you can visit France and Belgium if you are unvaccinated but need proof of a negative Covid test result.

Where can I go on holiday from the UK now?

As well as Covid travel rules, also check your passport. The Interior Ministry has urged the British to check their documents now before the summer holidays due to delays in processing new passport applications, including extensions.

The government anticipates a backlog following the impact of the pandemic; It is estimated that over five million people have had their passport applications delayed in 2020 and 2021.

As a result, UK travelers waiting for passports could be left in the process for up to 10 weeks – and if you’ve booked a holiday you don’t want to risk being unable to start your trip because you left it too late.
