Player-led PvP is in its eighth year and will host its next PvP this Saturday. Stay Frosty’s Frigate Free-For-All will see players engage in some old-fashioned player-versus-player action.
The event itself is hosted in the Ouelletta system by the Stay Frosty corporation, and like the years before the event, players of all skill ranges can pilot one of the 10K frigates Free to fly and explode during the event.
What makes the event so special is that it’s open to anyone in New Eden who wants to participate, newbies or seasoned vets. It’s also a great way for new players to enjoy PvP without risking their ships in the process – a way to minimize hull loss that may be exclusive to new players.
As in previous years, there’s no limit to how many trains you can claim, just blow up, dock at a Stay Frosty-owned station and request another.
Frigate Free For All by Stay Frosty will be held at 16:00-2200 UTC (or starting at Noon EDT / 9am PDT) on Saturday, March 19. Along with the player-led event, CCP Games also hosts its own PvP Frigate event in the Abyssal Proving Grounds. Set up as a 2v2 event, players will be able to grab basic Frigate hulls and battle teammates. To make it easier for new players to join, the accessories for these ships will be limited to the base modules only, meaning it will be easier for new players to assemble the hulls to join.
