Jennifer Doherty believes that everyone has their own mountain to climb at some point in their life. When the opportunity of her life presented itself, she was determined not to let her blindness stop her from making it to Everest Base Camp.

At her home in Buncrana, Co. Donegal, Jennifer (36) is still coming down to earth after leading a grueling trek through one of the most difficult regions on earth. She completed the grueling 12-day adventure with a group of intrepid explorers, including mountaineer Jason Black, who picked Jennifer for the challenge.
