EverQuest II Brewday is back with new items, new recipes and of course beer

EverQuest II is bringing back the Brewday Festival. The event will run through March 23 at 11 p.m. PT. There are new additions to this year’s festival, including new Tradeskill recipes and new items for you to partake in.

The Overseer quest returns this year, and you’ll be able to participate by finding boisterous revelers in the Norrath cities. There will be lots of celebrations and lots of beer, as that is the spirit of this annual event.

Beer is an important part of the festival and many quests will require you to drink and doing so will make some questions harder by dimming the screen when your character is drunk. It can be a bit frustrating at first if you haven’t joined before, but the more you do, the more your character’s alcohol tolerance will increase. There are also ways to remove the intoxication effect quickly like getting yourself killed in battle. Or lose a duel. This will bring your character back to consciousness. Of course, you can also purchase the Wake-up Juice item to get a beer card

Beer tokens are the event currency that you will earn with all your festival quests and achievements. You’ll be able to exchange them for items from the special event seller, Balin Copperfoot.

Some of the gear you can get through Brewsday include the Wild Boar, a non-combat pet that will follow you everywhere, special recipes, a variety of boosters, such as Brews Day Celebrator sitting Lad or Lady sitting.

There are also house pets you can get, including the Arctic Badger and Coastal Basilisk, or even an exotic cabbage plant. All these in addition to decorations for your home that match the theme, some of these include Boar’s Head wall trophy, Boozy Glow Skimmer, Barrelroom door for your home or crate door Briarwood.
