Every iPhone owner should know a genius shopping trick that can save you money

APPLE is just a few days away from having another great hack that will save you time – and money, too.

It is associated with Reminders, one of Apple’s most useful apps.

The Reminders app lets you quickly add notes to remember.

You can divide them into lists, such as chores or chores.

But one of the best uses is to create a shopping list that syncs on Apple devices.

Better yet, you can even share this list with others Iphone owner – like a partner or housemate – so you can sync.

Apple is making a big change to Reminders in the upcoming iOS 15.4 update.

Currently, when you want to add items to your shopping list, you have to do it manually.

That can be frustrating at times, especially if you’re following a large recipe.

And if you want to add the amount of ingredients, it can get really heavy.

But in iOS 15.4, Apple integrated its Live Text scanning feature directly into Reminders.

Once the update comes out, there will be a new scan option when you add an item to your shopping list.

It will launch the camera and allow you to scan text from a recipe – whether it’s in a book or on a computer screen.

It will then immediately import those ingredients into your shopping list, including all quantities.

So, if you’ve made a quick note of “wheat flour” or “red wine vinegar,” you’ll know exactly how much you need when you get to the grocery store.

That means you won’t accidentally buy too much of anything, because you know exactly what the recipe calls for.

Over time, this can save you a bit of cash.

Of course, Apple’s Live Text feature is already available in the main camera app.

Live Text lets you point your iPhone camera at a real-world object and quickly copy and paste text on it to your phone.

It can help you jot down notes on a whiteboard at the end of a meeting or class at school, or transcribe handwritten notes of a family recipe.

Grab an object with the text you want to scan and open the Camera app on your iPhone.

Point the camera at the subject, then tap the indicator that appears at the bottom right of your screen. It looks like lines of text surrounded by a box.

When you tap it, the text will pop out on your screen and you are given the option to copy, select, look up, translate or share.

For instance, you can copy and paste it into an email or Note, or share it with your friends via WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger.

You can also use Live Text on photos already in your photo library.
