Set in late 1990s Los Angeles, the comedy-horror-romance follows a struggling writer named James Bishop, who is facing a messy breakup with help support of his best friend while trying to finish his latest book before the apocalypse is imminent.”

The film’s title signals a world change, and while the synopsis doesn’t say anything about a nuclear accident, it could certainly be “the apocalypse coming.” ” that it refers to. It’s weird to finish an entire book before the world ends, but maybe these are intelligent zombies that can read? Hey, maybe your priorities are skewed towards cannibals and brains. We’ll have to wait and see.

Production began in late July in Los Angeles, and will wrap up in early August.
