The 27-year-old nephew of former England international Gareth joins the squad straight tonight to take on last season’s leaders Ebbsfleet.
After leaving the Seagulls in 2015, Barry played almost 200 total games in a career that has taken him to Swindon Town, Chesterfield, Barrow and Stevenage.
He trained with Borough in the pre-season and played in a friendly against AFC Wimbledon.
District Manager Danny Bloor wants to use his experience and versatility.
Bloor said: “Brad has shown a real commitment and desire to want to play for Eastbourne Borough Football Club, despite interest from other football clubs higher up the pyramid.
“He is committed to the ethos of this unique football club and I am delighted to sign him and bring him on board. I’m sure Brad will become a fan favorite as the season progresses.”
Barry captained Albion’s development team in their first-ever PL2 game against Blackburn in 2014.
