Brooke Kinsella is expecting baby number two.
The former EastEnders star has shared the happy news that she is pregnant with her second child.
The 38-year-old already shares daughter Elsie, 18-months-old, with husband Simon Boardley, 43.
“Right now it’s just kisses… Here we are again, Simon Boardley,” she said OK! Magazine.
The couple tied the knot in 2017 and Brooke has made no secret that she wanted a baby brother or sister for Elsie, who was born in September 2020.
She previously told the magazine, “I come from a really big family and I’m so close to my siblings. It’s really important to have someone to go through life with and I’d love to give that to Elsie. We have plenty of room at home for another small one.
“We’re not getting any younger, so obviously we have to think about these things, but I’m in no rush.
“I want to enjoy Elsie as a first time mom and give her all the love and support she needs. We leave it to the universe and see what happens.”
Brooke is also known for founding the Ben Kinsella Trust, which she established in memory of her younger brother who was tragically stabbed to death in 2008 when he was just 16 years old.
The actress, who was awarded an MBE for her charity work, has previously spoken of her heartache that Elsie will never have a relationship with her uncle.

She once said, “It’s a double-edged sword. Being Elsie’s mom is all I’ve ever wanted, but on the other hand, I can’t help but think of everyone who isn’t here to meet her. For me, the main character missing out is Ben.
“Obviously I love Elsie dearly and since I loved Ben so much, it’s heartbreaking to know that the two will never get the chance to meet.”
And little Elsie is also a reminder of Ben, as Brooke said during an appearance on Loose Women last year that her little girl resembled her late uncle.
She said she felt Ben’s presence from the moment she realized she was pregnant, saying: “As soon as I bought the Clearblue package, I saw the word BEN. It was he who made his presence known.
“Losing a sibling…that was one of my best friends…was hard. The thought of losing a child is absolutely terrifying. Now I know what there is to lose, it broke my heart again.”
In 2018, Brooke returned to the EastEnders in a different role – helping them with knife crime research for a story in which Shakil Kazemi was stabbed to death by a gang member.
