With new rounds and a debut on Nintendo Switch and Xbox, there will always be new issues to appear once they get a full test.

That means the occasional balancing patch is needed to make life easier for players and keep things fair for everyone.

Several rounds have been slightly changed in this update, but Volleyfall is the biggest beneficiary of the changes.

We give you the full patch notes and let you know how this will affect your experience in Fall Guys.

Full Fall Guys patch notes

This patch has been released on all platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam/Epic Games Store.

  • Improvements to an exploit on Volleyfall that allowed players to bounce the ball indefinitely on their own side of the court.
  • Players can no longer get onto another team’s track in Rock and Roll.
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in players seeing a message that their “rewards will expire” on Squads if they attempted to exit the game after being eliminated.
  • The Swirly Sleeves pattern is back in stocks.
  • Players will no longer clip through the ground on the jump ropes in The Swiveller.
  • Improvements to volley camera controls.

Volleyfall saw an annoying exploit that allowed players to keep the ball to themselves for the entire game, preventing the opponent from winning.

To address this, adjustments have been made to how the ball bounces and how player characters interact with it to make it much more difficult to keep it on one side.

Elsewhere, Rock and Roll is a team game where players should only end up being able to disrupt other teams.

However, skill full platforming allowed players to get to the other tracks much sooner, which ruined the game. Invisible walls have been extended to make this impossible.

In addition to these changes, the Hex-a-Ring game was temporarily disabled a few hours later and will no longer appear on any shows.

This is due to a couple of visual bugs where players appeared to not clear tiles or be completely invisible. This issue is currently being worked on and the round will be unavailable in the meantime.
