Falmer Road near the A27 closed after accident

The incident happened at around 6.30pm this evening on the Falmer Road between the A27 and Norton Drive, Woodingdean.

There are queues to the traffic lights at Woodingdean and the mini roundabout on the B2123 at Falmer.

One person stuck in traffic said the queues were “past the roundabout” and could see an ambulance at the scene.

It is currently unclear how many vehicles are involved and how severe the injuries are.

Another person said the road was closed by the traffic light near the Amex.

Sussex Police have been asked for comment.
