Fans are unable to play Ultimate Team as EA servers are affected by a mysterious outage

FANS of FIFA 22 are reporting this morning that the video game has been hit by a mysterious outage.

According to online outage trackers, the problems with the popular football simulator began around 7:00 a.m. UK time (2:00 a.m. EST).

Reports on social media suggest that players are unable to connect to FIFA Ultimate Team due to the issue.

Screenshots shared online show an error message that appears when people try to connect to online multiplayer.

The message reads: “Sorry, there was an error connecting to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team. You will be redirected to the FIFA 22 main menu.”

Hundreds of people reported the problem to the DownDetector website, which monitors online outages.

EA Sports, the developer of the FIFA games, has not yet confirmed the outage.
