Here’s a list of the biggest changes to Pokémon Go for Fashion Week:

Mareanie enters the battle

The next Pokemon to come into the game has been announced.

Mareanie and its evolution, Toxapex, will be included in Pokémon Go starting September 27th.

They are Poison/Water-type Pokémon and have strong defensive bulk.

This makes them great additions to Pokémon Go, as the combat-based gameplay favors defensive mons.

Added new fashionable costumes for a number of Pokémon

As real-life fashion week approaches, a number of costumed Pokémon will be added from September 27th to October 3rd.

Diglett, Dugtrio, Absol, and Toxicroak wear outfits that all appear in the wild and can also be picked up in Timed Research.

Costumed Butterfree, Croagunk, Blitzle, and Kirlia can also be found in the wild.

Croagunk and Blitzle will also be available through Field Research tasks.

Costumed Pokémon can also hatch from 7km Eggs. These are Diglett, Smoochum, Croagunk, and Shinx.

The last costumed Pokemon can be found in raids.

Diglett, Shinx, and Croagunk will participate in one-star raids, while Butterfree, Kirlia, and Absol will participate in three-star raids.

Taking snaps of Pokémon this week also increases the chances of costumed Pokémon appearing.

Fashionable Pokémon will appear more frequently

A number of Pokemon that Niantic thinks are fashionable will appear with increasing regularity.

In the wild: Mareanie, Toxapex, Murkrow, Glameow, Gothita, Female Frillish, and Furfrou can be found.

Scraggy and Furfrou also appear in one-star raids and Mareanie in three-star raids.

Yveltal will be the five-star raid Pokémon, and Mega Lopunny will feature in Mega Raids.

Eevee, Furfrou, Murkrow, Skitty, Glameow, and Mareanie can be encountered as rewards for completing Field Research tasks.

Spotlight Hour: Minccino

On Tuesday, September 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, Minccino will appear more frequently in the wild.

During this hour there will also be increased shiny odds for Minccino.

Players will also receive double candy for transferring Pokémon at this time.

Minccino isn’t that common in Pokémon Go, but it won’t be that useful for battle.

Guzma enters the battle

Saturday October 1st is a Go Battle day featuring Gen 7 character Guzma.

Quadruple rewards are available on this day in Go Battle League.

With the increased reward bonuses, you can fight up to a hundred battles.

There will also be Timed Research that will give you experience points, an Elite Charge TM , Rare Candies and Guzma costumes for your avatar.
