Tribute was paid to a father of four who died suddenly at work after suffering from a mysterious blood clot.
Nick Prosser, 35, fell ill at work on March 23 while managing the Old Rectory Hotel in the village of Llangattock in the Brecon Beacons, Wales.
Tragically, the defibrillator at a nearby pub was not working at the time, according to hotel staff.
An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene but Nick could not be rescued, reports have reported Wales Online.
He is survived by his wife Kayleigh and four children Lily, 14, Romeo, eight, and twins Freddie and Fia-Rae, seven,
Hotel assistant manager Kallie Mole said the cause of the clot was unknown.

She shared how staff at the Old Rectory supported Kayleigh, who also works at the hotel.
“Nick has worked here for five years and has been manager for the last two years. He started as a night porter and worked his way up,” she added.
“To be honest, he was amazing to work with. He made it fun and there was never a dull moment.

“He was always the life and soul and the first to help when someone was struggling. We all called him the gentle giant because he was a very tall man full of personality.
“He was serious when he had to be, but he was always funny in his work family, as we all called each other. At Christmas he dressed up as Mrs Claus and couldn’t wait to turn on the lights.”
Head Housekeeper Kirsty Williams said it was important to Nick that guests and staff were always enjoying themselves.
She recalled how he made sure a colleague had food and supplies at home while he was ill with Covid.

“He worked 100 hours a week at times,” Kallie said. He was the heart of our community. Some people came to stay just because Nick was here.”
Growing up in Ynysybwl before moving to Brecon, Nick was a family man who loved spending time with his children.
Kallie added: “He was crazy about F1. He wanted to take Freddie and Romeo to Silverstone this year. It was the first time he had a chance to get tickets.”
