Gogglebox: Daniel shows off his new hairstyle

Gogglebox viewers were stunned last night when they called Daniel Lustig’s new look ‘unrecognizable’.

Returning to the show with husband Stephen Webb, the Brighton Gogglebox star sported a new hairstyle that made fans talk.

Daniel is known for his gorgeous curls and closely shaved beard, but his latest appearance leaves him bare with a much closer cut, given the shape of his curls. was completely lost.

The new look shocked fans, some of whom said they couldn’t recognize their favorite TV with his new look.

Daniel revealed a new look when sitting on a chair with his husband happily discussing his weight loss journey.

Stephen proudly tells him about his progress, saying he started at 14 pounds and 7 pounds before losing nearly a stone over the course of a month.

Daniel wore a bright yellow t-shirt and complimented his husband, while snapping a snap in front of the camera.

Although fans don’t seem to be focusing on Stephen’s progress, instead, without his glasses, beard and curly hair, Daniel managed to steal the show.

Fans weren’t too thrilled with the new look, taking to Twitter to express their confusion over his new style.

One viewer wrote: “Why is Daniel so unrecognizable?”

While a second wrote: “Watching Gogglebox and seeing Daniel, Stephen’s husband – it’s a huge image change! I don’t mind the haircut, but I can’t ignore his shaved look there!”

A third said: “Daniel looks like Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber”.

One fan of the show went so far as to suggest Daniel should find a new hairdresser, tweeting: “Daniel looks like a schoolboy now with his new hairstyle, missing the curls #Gogglebox #sackyourhairdresser” .

Some fans of the show liked Daniel’s new look, saying: “Daniel looks better after ditching the Mick Hucknall look.”

Viewers even compared Daniel to historical figures, with one saying: “#Gogglebox Daniel looks like Julius Caesar with his new hair”

Daniel debuted his new look on the show after the couple took some time off to recuperate from Covid.

Last month, Stephen tested positive for the virus, informing fans in an Instagram post sent to the ITV show crew.

Wearing a gray jumpsuit, cap and striped socks, he said: “Hi, here’s a message to the Gogglebox crew. Good luck filming this week.

“I can’t wait to see you guys on Friday. I really need a laugh. We can’t film this week because I have Covid.”

He went on to show fans the “small room” that he had been isolated in, with a “small bed” and a “small bathroom”.

He captioned the post: “Gogglebox Returns at 9pm this Friday, unfortunately we won’t be back for episode 1. Looking forward to seeing you all.”
