Fern Britton has admitted that she talks to her cats when she has issues after her love was split with celebrity chef husband, Phil Vickery.
The TV presenter married celebrity chef Phil in 2000, but after 20 years together, the couple went their separate ways in 2020.
Previously, the former This Morning star confessed that she misses her best friend with ex-husband Phil.
Speaking to Weekend Magazine, she admitted the couple’s romance had unfortunately been on the wrong track.
For now, Fern still remembers ‘talking’ her problems with her ex-husband, so instead, she shares her pain with her beloved cats.

“People say they get back together after a long relationship, but it takes a while. Recovery is difficult. You pick up a pebble in the pond, but the ripples go on for a long time,” mused the 64-year-old.
“It’s been a long time since dawn, but I’m on a completely different chapter and feel like everything will be fine,” added Fern, as she said she now has a more peaceful life and enjoys it. yoga, meditation and walking, which she says is ‘self-care’.
Fern and Phil shocked fans when they announced their split two years ago, and she said last year the divorce was ‘difficult’.
“I had a bad year, two or three. Both my parents died, my beloved cat died and unfortunately my marriage died too,” she told BBC Breakfast.
“It’s been a tough time, but we’re getting through it. And all is well. And the life after,” the mother of three shared.
