Fight incident: Sussex Police appeal for witnesses after attack
The incident happened in Battle yesterday morning.
Around 10.30am, emergency services arrived at Old Ladies Court, near Battle High Street.
A 21-year-old man from Battle suffered serious leg injuries resulting from being stabbed.
He was taken to Conquest Hospital in Hastings where his condition remains stable.
Now the police are looking for witnesses to the serious bodily harm.
The investigation is now ongoing and officials are asking for testimony.
Detective Sergeant Rob Tillyer said: “This is a rapidly moving investigation and our officers are in the process of conducting an extensive investigation.
“I want to reassure the public that combating serious violence like this remains a high priority for the force and a thorough investigation is ongoing.”
