File RPG: Rising Spire is a fully funded turn-based RPG inspired by Final Fantasy

Inspired by the turn-based RPG that gave rise to the genre, Rising Spire is a Final Fantasy-Esque RPG that has been fully funded on Kickstarter since March 2. The four-man studio behind the project is heading the way. to the stretch goals because the project still has 14 days to run the campaign.
Rear four-person studio Rising Spire, Lonely Final Boss Studios, announced that the RPG will be story driven, where players will explore the world, solve puzzles, and more. It looked interesting, and it looks like potential players agreed, as the project was well funded before the campaign ended.
“Born out of love for the classic games we grew up with, Rising Spire Is one [story-driven] Turn-based RPG Deeply inspired by the Final Fantasy series. Explore unique lands, Build strong relationships with unlikely allies, solve puzzlesand defeat powerful entities to uncover the secrets of the past and prevent the world from destroying itself. “
The team is focusing on the turn-based combat RPG that defined the JRPGs of the 90s and early 2000s. Despite this, Lonely Final Boss Studios claims that there will be some modern conveniences, such as the ability to swap weapons during combat. You’ll also be able to “harness the power of your enemies”, which will allow you to unleash new attacks in combat heat.

Rising Spire also promises character-oriented story elements, with you being able to keep track of everything in your diary. Since Malus’ world does not revolve around the protagonist, Atlas, LFBS stated that the world and its stories will take place around him, told by “the people around you.”
While only asking for $20K to work on the project, the studio is currently looking to expand on goals, such as a Nintendo Switch port, as well as post-launch DLC.
You can see more details about the indie RPG project on their Kickstarter. If you’re interested in checking it out for yourself, there’s a free “prelude” available on Steam that offers some insight into the style, mechanics, and more. While no exact date is listed for the release, the press kit lists a Q4 2022 target.
