Final Fantasy 14 – five biggest changes in update 6.28

FINAL Fantasy 14 update 6.28 is finally here after nine hours of server downtime.

Nothing changes in this patch, but many small tweaks and bug fixes will change your overall experience.

Season 3 PvP mode is coming to an end and the rewards will be distributed soon.

Here are the biggest changes made in FF14 in update 6.28.

Buffs for PvE actions in FF14

Made adjustments to several jobs that affect PvE gameplay.

Usually the potency of various actions and traits was either buffed or nerfed for a number of jobs.

In this case, however, only buffs were applied. The Red Mage and Machinist benefit most when four actions or traits are upgraded each.

Buffs for PvP actions in FF14

The white mage’s range has been reduced, but otherwise only buffs have been added here as well.

Some technical changes have also been added, for example Machinist’s explosive charge has increased movement speed when cast.

Crystalline Conflict transitions into FF14 in Season 4

Crystalline Conflict Season 4 is about to launch and will last until the release of update 6.3.

Anyone who finishes in the top 100 in Season 3 can receive coupons through Moogle’s delivery service.

If you completed at Bronze level or higher, you can claim your rewards by speaking to the Festival Quartermaster at Wolves’ Den Pier.

Dyeable items are now available in FF14

A large number of items can now be dyed, allowing you to better customize your appearance.

Most of these are Valerian items, but some Xenobian items are also available.

New North American worlds in FF14

While not an in-game change, a number of data centers have been added across North America to help FF14 run smoothly.

Four new hubs have been added, meaning players can take advantage of four new worlds.
