Finally, Halo Infinite Season 2 “Lone Wolves” starts in May

Halo Infinite is finally getting its second season with multiplayer content on May 3rd, which brings new maps, game modes, and a Battle Pass. A new trailer, titled Lone Wolves, gives just a glimpse of what we can expect from the sci-fi shooter next month.

While we’re missing details on what to expect exactly, the new main map we’re seeing seems to be set in some kind of sandy industrial outpost, with a large chasm where you can leap your Warthog across a deadly lake of lava.

The main artwork of the season features three unique Spartans wearing new armor, which we see in action throughout the trailer. We see a light blue sight on a Spartan paired with a distinctive new chest piece with extra ammo on the front. We also see a character wearing a green tactical helmet, although that’s by far the outfit we see the least of.

The main attraction comes from the central Spartan in the art and which we see most of in the trailer. This character comes equipped with a red and tan armor core and has a bright red visor with small teeth painted on the front. Anyone who has played Halo multiplayer before can attest that this type of helmet is always popular. Who knows, maybe it can knock off Emile’s Season 1 helmet for a while?

This season comes a whopping five months after the release of Season 1, which came out alongside the game and withstood much controversy in the early days. While there will inevitably be new events to play and appeal to Halo Infinite audiences who enjoy the excellent core gameplay there, it remains to be seen if this season will maintain many of the issues that some of the community has had with the previous one.

Nonetheless, Halo Infinite is a great game that we wholeheartedly recommended in our review last year. If you’ve been looking for a great opportunity to get back in, May 3rd could be the perfect opportunity to do so. Finally, Halo Infinite Season 2 “Lone Wolves” starts in May
