Firefighter shoots McDonald’s employee after row over coupon
An off-duty firefighter punched a McDonald’s drive-through employee before bursting into the restaurant and shooting him dead after an argument over a discount coupon.
A man identified as Sergeant Paulo Cesar de Souza Albuquerque was killed on April 9.
In the clip, Albuquerque can be seen opening his Mercedes door, sticking his arm through the window and hitting Mr Carvalho, who immediately backs up.
A second video shows a customer bursting into the store with a pistol while a burly man tries not to stop him from advancing.

A third video shows Mr Carvalho falling to the ground in front of a startled onlooker, while the man walks away, gun in hand.
The incident happened early Monday morning in the Taquara neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro.
Witnesses later revealed the couple had argued over a discount coupon.
The firefighter had apparently placed an order at the drive-through window but only said he was entitled to a discount at the time of payment and not at the start of the order as the coupon terms require.
After the close-range shooting, Albuquerque reportedly fled the scene, while Mr Carvalho was promptly rushed to hospital by police.
The young man required surgery for a gunshot wound to his stomach and his left kidney had to be removed.
At the time of writing, he was still in stable condition at Hospital Lourenco Jorge.
Albuquerque reportedly turned himself in to a police station in Taquara Monday afternoon.

His lawyer, Sandro Figueiredo, is now trying to argue that her client’s gun was accidentally fired.
The Fire Department has since suspended Albuquerque’s transport permit and has launched an internal investigation into his conduct.
He was released by the police during the investigation.
Mr Carvalho had moved to Rio de Janeiro from his home state of Minas Gerais five years earlier to find work.
He was saving money to pay for his veterinary studies, according to his family, who had long feared for his safety due to the unsociable work hours.
McDonald’s said it supports the family and is cooperating with the investigation.
