The helicopter, which took off from Lucca in Tuscany, was on its way to Treviso when it disappeared from radar screens after a storm

Five people have been killed in a helicopter crash in Italy – after the plane went missing for two days.
Two passengers are still missing when the plane disappeared from radar screens as it took off from Lucca, Tuscany.
The helicopter was heading towards the northern city of Treviso when it disappeared from radar screens after encountering inclement weather over a hilly, wooded area.
Eugenio Giani, the governor of the Tuscany region, wrote on Facebook that the helicopter crashed in a mountainous area on the border between Tuscany and the Emilia Romagna region.
The bodies of the five dead were found on Saturday.

There were seven people on board the helicopter, including four Turkish businessmen who worked for Eczacibasi Consumer Products, a subsidiary of Turkey’s major industrial group Eczacibasi.
They had attended a paper technology fair in Italy, the company said in a statement.
According to the Lebanese state news agency NNA, the other two passengers were Lebanese.
