Actor Ezra Miller has been arrested in Hawaii for the second time in recent weeks.
The 29-year-old Flash star was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday on charges of second-degree assault following an incident in which a 26-year-old woman allegedly sustained a laceration to the forehead.
According to the Hawaii Police Department (HPD), Miller had become “enraged” and reportedly threw a chair, which hit the woman.
Officers arrived at a private home in Pahoa on Hawaii’s Big Island just after 1 a.m. (12 p.m. London) after an attack reportedly took place.
“Just after 1 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022, a 29-year-old visitor from Vermont was arrested for second-degree assault following an incident at an apartment building in Pahoa,” the HPD said in a report.
“During their investigation, police found that the person, later identified as Ezra Miller, became angry after being asked to leave the home and reportedly threw a chair and punched a 26-year-old woman in the forehead , which resulted in about a half-inch cut.
“The female victim refused treatment for her injury.”
The actor, who poses as she/she, was arrested at 1.30am Tuesday morning after being found on a road during a traffic stop.
They were subsequently released pending further investigation.

The HPD said the investigation is still active.
It comes after Miller was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct at a karaoke bar last month.
Police said the actor grabbed a microphone from a singing woman and lunged at a man playing darts after he was allegedly annoyed by a rendition of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s ballad Shallow from the movie A Star Is Born.
Last week, the couple dropped their request for a restraining order against Miller, although their attorney declined to comment on the reasons.
The actor also stars in the latest installment in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, The Secrets Of Dumbledore.
