Flight warning as British Airways releases huge list of routes STILL requiring a mask

BRITS flying British Airways are being warned they must continue to wear face masks when traveling to 50 destinations.

This was announced by the airline Abolition of its mandatory mask policy Earlier this month if passengers are traveling to a country where face coverings are not mandatory.

BA has now updated its website to say that Brits still have to wear a face mask when flying to one of 50 countries.

Countries include popular holiday destinations Spain, France, Italy, USA, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey.

The BA’s website states: “Where we are unsure or could not clarify the local restrictions, we will continue to ask you to wear mouth and nose covers and ask you to continue to carry masks for the duration of your trip.”

The airline added that if face masks are not mandatory at any destination they fly to, passengers will not be required to wear one on board.

The site continued, “For travel destinations where we have identified that wearing a face covering is not mandatory, you are free to make a personal choice and we ask that everyone respect each other’s preferences.”

The airline has not yet released a full list of destinations where passengers are not required to wear masks on board.

Sun Online Travel has reached out to BA for further comments.

Other airlines have also announced that they are phasing out mandatory face masks on their flights.

Jet2, TUI and easyJet have all relaxed their mask guidelines, leaving passengers to make a personal choice as to whether or not to wear one.

Ryanair is expected to follow suitAs boss Michael O’Leary announced, the low-cost airline is expected to drop masks in the spring.

Heathrow Airport also has abandoned his mask ruleeliminating the need for travelers to wear face coverings in terminals.

Holiday destinations are also scrapping mandatory face masks to encourage Britons to head out on holiday.

People in France don’t have to wear masksunless they use public transport or visit nursing homes.

Visitors to the Maldives too do not have to wear a face coveringalthough they are advised to do so if they are in crowded places or have flu-like symptoms.

Spain is probably also take off maskswith experts saying that could happen in the coming weeks.
