Enock Mwepu has been discharged from hospital after illness ruined his recent trip abroad.
The midfielder missed Zambia’s two friendlies after Mali met with the side in Bamako.
He retired from the Games due to an unspecified illness.

The Zambian federation reported that he had been released from the Polyclinique Pasteur de Bamako, where he had spent four days.
They tweeted a photo of him smiling and looking good.
The FAZ said that Mwepu would “probably continue to be treated” after his return.
