Former Brighton forward looking for another new club

Ex-ALBION striker Jürgen Locadia is on the road again after his release from Bundesliga club Bochum.

The Dutchman joined Albion in a £14m deal in January 2018 but has struggled to make the impact he wanted at the Amex Stadium.

Locadia netted just six in 46 games for Albion, which led to a loan spell at Hoffenheim and FC Cincinnati.

This saw the 28-year-old fall further down the pecking order at Albion, which eventually saw him leave the club in January and join Bochum in January on a contract until the end of the 2021/22 season.

Locadia have scored two goals and created another in 13 games in all competitions. His goals came against Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in famous victories in Bochum.

However, after his release from the German team, he is now a free agent.

The forward was thought to be earning wages in excess of £2million a year, allowing Albion to save around £1million in wages for him between January and June. Former Brighton forward looking for another new club
