EX-GERMANY coach Joachim Low is tipped to become Fenerbahce’s new boss in the summer, despite his long-standing feud with Mesut Ozil.
World Cup Champion Low has been without a job since resigning Germany management after Euro 2020.
His last match in charge of Die Mannschaft was a Lost 2-0 in the round of 16 against England at Wembley.
But now, the 61-year-old will return to managing the club, with T24 reports that Low has agreed to become Fenerbahce’s boss in the summer.
The move will allow Low to bury the grave alongside his former player Ozil.
Ozil and Manchester City player Ilkay Gundogan, both of Turkish descent, were pictured alongside controversial Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
The photo caused outrage and as the defending champions were eliminated in the group stage, Ozil appeared to be the scapegoat for Germany’s elimination.
The Arsenal midfielder then retired from international football shortly after and accuses Germany’s FA of complicity in ‘racism and disrespect’ cases. ‘

Short expressed a desire to speak with Ozil.
He said: “Mesut leaving the national team without consulting me first is a huge human disappointment for me.
“There will come a time when we will talk or meet again. At some point, we will say everything and put everything aside.
“These memories will then be positive for us as well. He’s a hugely important and amazing player with great skills.”
