Former nursing home on Haywards Heath engulfed in fire
Firefighters have been working overnight to try to tackle a huge blaze that has engulfed a former nursing home.
Emergency crews were called to Bolnore Farm Lane near Haywards Heath last night after the fire broke out, with ten fire engines called to the scene.
No one is believed to be in the building, which was previously a care home, when the fire broke out around 7pm last night.
Flames could be seen leaping into the sky and the embers from the fire were carried away by the strong winds that hit the county overnight.
The building appears to have been completely burned out by the fire, with aerial photos showing the roof has collapsed in several areas.

The B2272 remains closed in both directions from Butlers Green to the Muster Green roundabouts, with the Fire Service urging people to avoid the area.
A massive emergency response team has been attending to the incident, with a number of fire service vehicles seen at the scene.
