Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 2 Update: Doctor Strange and new tanks

A new season of Fourteen days lies ahead, and this one is a little… odd. Developer Epic Games rolls out Chapter 3: Season 2 of the long-running battle royale, and it’s called Resistance; A story trailer (embedded above) shows a series of opposing forces challenging each other on the Fourteen days Island, along with a certain wizard from the Marvel Universe.

Before the official announcement of the season Epic said it would donate two weeks of its Fourteen days Proceeds to support humanitarian efforts related to Ukraine. This lasts from March 20th to April 3rd.

Season brings some big changes to the game. The most extreme thing is that, for now at least, building has been “wiped out,” eliminating one of the most distinctive aspects of Fourteen days play. To compensate for this, players now have an additional shield – called “Overshield” – to defend themselves. Other changes include a combination of faster sprinting and climbing that makes for parkour-like moves, the addition of blimps to explore and tanks to drive, and a handful of new weapons. And if players donate enough gold over the course of the season, they’ll unlock a drivable version of the legendary Battle Bus, which now looks like it came out of it crazy max.

In addition to the game and island changes, New Season Battle Pass also adds a handful of unlockable characters for those who buy it. Most notable is Doctor Strange – which will return to theaters in May – and he’ll be joined by new faces with names like The Imagined and The Origin. For those who follow Fourteen days‘s ever-expanding lorethis season seems to be full of important details.

Season 2 follows an eventful start to the game’s newest chapter, which started last December. The previous season brought destructive weather, faster movement and huge monstersalong with collaborations with everyone out Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak to Naomi Osaka. There was even a virtual art gallery for players to explore. Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 2 Update: Doctor Strange and new tanks
