Fortnite now has real Wu Tang Clan clothing that you can purchase in-game

The legendary hip hop group that now includes the Wu Tang Clan Fourteen days via a series of items based on her Wu Wear fashion line.

As of yesterday (April 23), a number of items based on the Wu Wear clothing line are available in the item shop. Unlike other collaborations where character or person skins are available, this is specifically for clothing that people can actually purchase in the real world if they choose.

There are two outfits to choose from, the Throwback BG outfit which comes with a Wu Wear Worldwide back bling and the BRITE outfit which comes with the Wu-Tang Represent back bling. According to a post from Epic Games, both outfits have a no-cap style that you can switch to if you like a breezy head.

Speaking of the crossover, Wu Tang Clan’s RZA said: “Fortnite has been in my household for years. It’s been a treat and a joy to see the game evolve as it becomes a pastime. This collaboration is a generational ‘drop’ of loot and cool. If what you say is true, Fortnite and Wu-Tang could be Fortangerous…”

Besides outfits, some other items will be available. Players can snag a Shimmy Surfer Glider that looks like the Wu Tang Clan logo, available in yellow or Ruckus Red, and best of all, it’s “no messing around”. There’s also a Wu Wrap for your weapons and vehicles, which has quite a nice black and gold color palette with various Wu Tang iconography. And a new emote is also available, the Wu-Tang is Forever emote, which sees the player character raising their hands in the party’s signature “W” position.

It’s not just outfits and gliders that are available, as when players receive the Wu Wear Gear Bundle they will also receive the Neck Protector Pickaxe and Triumphant Tagger Pickaxe in addition to all the items. This pack also includes a Wu Boom Box Spray and a Wu Tang Clan Banner.
