Fortnite’s Slurp Juice is set to return this week

Time to clear the cobwebs from the vault.

Fortnite is going deep into the Vault to bring back a consumable that hasn’t been seen in main Battle Royale modes since the release of Chapter 2. Slurp Juice will finally return to the game after a long hiatus with the February 7th update.
Unlike items that were vaulted back then due to defects or glitches, Slurp Juice has had the misfortune of being rendered entirely obsolete by the new Chapter 2 map’s features. Since the game is currently short on quick healing items outside of Chug Splash, this will surely liven up the fights across the island.
Slurp Juice lasts two seconds and grants 75 points of healing, whether for health or shields. Similar to Chug Splash, Slurp Juice prioritizes health healing but switches to shields once they are full. However, Slurp Juice acts as a heal over time rather than an instant burst, and its two-second use time is only surpassed by fish, which don’t grant as many healing points.
That’s not the only big thing dropping in Fortnite this week, either. On the same day that Slurp Juice comes out, players can finally work on the challenges to unlock Geralt and all of his associated cosmetics.
As Chapter 4 Season 1 approaches its final month, players will definitely want to rack up as much XP as possible. Although it was only last week that the change was made to prevent challenges from expiring, hopefully there will be enough XP left for everyone to finish their Battle Passes if they haven’t already.
