A number of listed telephone booths are up for auction.
Telephone boxes across Brighton, some of which are close to the seafront, are being sold as being suitable for a range of potential uses including a coffee kiosk, bakery, bookshop or florist.
The phone boxes are part of a 50 lot national catalog featuring investment opportunities across the UK from St Austell in Cornwall to Dunbartonshire in Scotland.
Andrew Brown, Strettons Auctions Manager, said: “These lots represent an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneur to start a new business or to be used for promotional purposes due to their prime location.
“Two of the phone boxes already have an A1 retail licence, which could make them interesting for an innovative business owner.
“This is the first time Strettons have put the iconic red phone boxes up for auction, so I’m excited to see how they do on the day.”
Two telephone boxes in St Peter’s Place are available at a guide price of £14,000 each and two more at Marine Parade are available at a guide price of £9,500.
The auction will take place on October 25th, with details on how to bid on the Strettons website.
