Fox host mocks Republican congressman over GOP mess

Fox Business’ Neil Cavuto mocked House Republicans – during an interview with Rep. Bob Good (R-Va.) – for their struggle to find a new speaker after Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) left office was removed.
“Are you worried though?” Cavuto asked Good in a video shared online on Thursday Mediait.
“I don’t mean to offend you, Congressman, but you kind of look like ‘Keystone Cops’ here,” he added. “You can’t do it, and in their view, having you running the House of Representatives doesn’t bode well for the American people because you can’t seem to run it.”
Good, who is supporting Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) for the post, argued the same thing was said after McCarthy’s drawn-out 15-vote fight for speaker in January and that “nobody cared” shortly afterward how long it took.
Cavuto bluntly reminded the Donald Trump-loyal lawmaker how McCarthy’s speakership imploded because he abandoned the single-repeal deal to gain power in the first place.
Good has described the COVID-19 pandemic as “fake” and voted to overturn the 2020 election results. In 2021, Good claimed that “almost everything that plagues our society stems from failure to follow God’s laws for morality and his rules and definitions of marriage and family.”
