FRANCE will end a UK travel ban, meaning vaccinated Britons can once again visit the country.
The new rules go into effect from tomorrow – giving holidaymakers a welcome boost.
He confirmed it would include “an end to compelling and isolating excuses on arrival”.
He added: “The decree will be published tomorrow morning and take effect immediately.”
Britons will still need to test negative within 24 hours of arriving in the country, although it is unclear if this could be lateral flow or should it be a PCR test.

Travelers will also need to have a vaccination pass to be able to enter restaurants, bars and tourist attractions.
Currently, people in France must present proof of vaccination or have tested negative to enter most facilities and use inter-regional trains.
However, the French government has confirmed stricter regulations will be introduced regarding vaccine cards, which will no longer allow holders of negative test results as proof.
This is only open to anyone 18 years of age or older – children aged 12 to 17 only need a simple physical permitting a negative test.
It is unclear when this will be enforced, although it could be as early as next week.
All adults who received a second shot more than seven months ago will need a booster shot for the vaccine to take effect.
This will change from February 15, with the period shortened to four months.
France announced for the first time travel ban on December 16, although other countries are starting to relax their travel rules, Omicron has grown across Europe.
Cyprus has also relaxed some of their travel restrictions, and now accept lateral flow from the British into this country.
