Frankie Bridge says her family is ‘a naked family’

Frankie Bridge has revealed that she and her husband Wayne often walk around their house completely “naked”.

Speaking on Loose Women, the former Saturday singer admitted that she and former footballer Wayne are a “pretty naked family” behind closed doors.

The couple are parents to sons Parker, eight, and Carter, six.

Frankie told her co-panelists Jane Moore, Katie Piper, and Kaye Adams that being open about your body in her home wasn’t a problem.

“I don’t understand what the problem is. I wouldn’t think, ‘Oh, now it’s time to cover up,'” the mother said.

“I think if Parker and Carter started to get uncomfortable or if they started saying ‘ooh, mom,’ then I would go from there.”

Frankie went on to say that she’s on the lookout for cues from her boys if they’re comfortable showing her body.

“Parker, I see, gets a little uncomfortable at times, so I’d cover it up,” she added.

“So I’m just going by their clues. But I remember growing up and watching my parents run to and from the bathroom and I didn’t think twice about it.

“Hopefully I would make them comfortable that way.”

She said she hopes her family’s openness will help her children feel comfortable with future partners.

It comes after the former singer opened up about her relationship with singing.

She revealed how over the years she’s developed a complex about her voice that has led to her almost giving it up entirely.

Frankie opened up about her relationship with singing during an Instagram Q&A after a fan asked her, “Do you sing around the house?”

The mother of two replied: “I hardly ever sing anymore. I have a little complex there. I slowly lost the joy of it over the years.”

She said: “I’ve been doing this for so long. It’s actually nice to do other things.

“I became more and more interested in the performance. More than specifically for the vocals. But when I watch a show. That inspires me so much!”

Frankie also revealed that she’s still in touch with her roommates from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

The singer said: “We have a group chat that’s still ongoing. I would like to see them all. But you know how it is.

“There are many of us planning to get together at the same time. We had a once in a lifetime experience together and no amount of time apart will ever change that.”
