Fred Sirieix praises daughter Andrea for her gold metal win at Commonwealth Games

Fred Sirieix has praised his daughter Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix after she won a gold medal in the women’s 10-meter diving final at the Commonwealth Games.

The First Dates star proudly stood on the sidelines as the 17-year-old won her first senior international gold medal in the event.

Sirieix shared a video clip of her competing on his Instagram, where he could be heard cheering her on as the crowd applauded her dive.

He captioned the post: “Gold! # commonwealthgames2022 #diving # 10m #platform , added:“Good job mon duck” with heart and duck emoji.

The image of Mr. maitre d’ on Channel 4’s First Dates is also cheering her on and celebrating after the achievement.

Spendolini-Sirieix topped the leaderboard with a whopping 20.20 points, while her teammate Lois Toulson took a silver medal.

Last year, in her Olympic crowning in Tokyo, she finished seventh at the age of 16.
