A VEGAN burger joint is handing out free tattoos this weekend to celebrate its newest website.
Oowee launches in Brighton this Saturday, giving free permanent tattoos to the first 20 customers through the door – and burgers to the first 100.
The vegan fast-food restaurant is collaborating with Brighton-based Nolsey, who will tattoo pre-selected designs the same day.
And for those feeling really brave, the chain is offering six months of unlimited food to those who get the Oowee logo tattooed.
Charlie Watson, Co-Founder of Oowee said: “We are delighted to finally open in the heart of Brighton.
“We can’t wait to bring Oowee to the community and help change people’s perspective on plant-based meals by affirming that vegan meals can be enjoyed by meat eaters just as much as vegans can.”
He said the Market Street restaurant will focus on “quality, taste and innovation”.
It specializes in plant-based beef burgers, “famous fried chick’n,” “delicious” dirty fries, and a selection of sides, homemade dips, and shakes.
The Brighton site will open at 11.30am on Saturday 27 August and will be the first outside of London and the founding city of Bristol.
