Frightened trucker picks up spooky hitchhiker in supernatural moment caught on camera

The trucker was part of a convoy traveling through a region of Argentina when he spotted the woman at the side of the road, who later clung to the back of his trailer

One trucker was so scared of a ghostly stowaway that clung to his vehicle and later vanished into thin air that he drove another 80 miles to skip town.

The driver was at the head of a convoy traveling through Argentina’s Cordoba province when he saw the woman standing by the side of the road.

When he checked his mirrors, the apparition was gone.

Concerned, he called his other drivers and was alarmed to be told that she was holding on to the back of his team.

Moments later, the mysterious vision vanished.

The convoy was so frightened that they decided to skip their plans and spend the night at a nearby rest stop.

Instead, they hit the gas and continued for another 100 km before finally stopping, according to local media.

Pictures taken by his startled colleagues showed the woman in a red coat, similar to the killer in the classic horror film Don’t Look Now.

The owners of Ye Olde Kings Head shared footage of the mysterious incident, one of many haunted occurrences the couple is reporting CheshireLive .

The hotel, which dates back to 1622, is believed to be home to a whopping 13 ghosts (and we’re not talking about those behind the bar), including tormented souls of Civil War soldiers, Roman soldiers, young children and even women who worked there, when it was a brothel in the 17th century.

The foundations of the original building on which the hotel sits are even older, having been built in 1208 for Peter the Scribe.

Ye Olde Kings Head has gained such a reputation for his paranormal activities that he has appeared on the TV show Most Haunted and recently Sky Picks Paranormal.

It was also named Creepiest hotel in the Northwest last year.

Paranormal investigator Danny Moss said: “Chester is without a doubt one of the most haunted cities in the UK and this 400 year old building is said to be one of the most haunted in the country.

“It has become such a huge attraction locally. It’s the ninth week since the cameras were installed and the activity we caught on camera has been phenomenal.”
