From streakers to surprise kisses: Controversial moments from Oscar history

The 94th Academy Awards were marred when Will Smith stormed the stage and slapped presenter Chris Rock in the face after the comedian made a joke about his wife.
Mith, 53, later scooped the best actor award for his portrayal of Richard Williams in King Richard.
The fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor’s outburst is the latest in a string of controversies surrounding the Oscars.
Here are five striking moments from past great moments:
The runabout
During the 1974 ceremony, just as host David Niven was introducing Elizabeth Taylor to present the Best Picture award, a speedster ran across the stage.
The naked man, later identified as photographer and gallery owner Robert Opel, ran out from behind the stage – and the crowd responded with laughter and cheers.
Niven said: “Well, ladies and gentlemen, that almost had to happen!
“But isn’t it fascinating to think that probably the only laugh a man will ever get in his life is to strip down and show his flaws?”

Niven’s comments were met with more laughter and applause.
Opel was later murdered when two men attempted to rob his San Francisco studio.
Angelina Jolie kisses her brother on the red carpet
Hollywood star Jolie raised eyebrows in 2000 when she kissed her brother James Haven on the lips at the Vanity Fair after-party.
Jolie, then 24, celebrated winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in Girl, Interrupted.
After receiving the gong, Jolie said in a speech, “I’m in shock and I’m so in love with my brother right now.
“He just held me and said he loves me and I know he’s so happy for me. And, um, thanks for that.”
Matt Stone and Trey Parker dress up as Jennifer Lopez and Gwyneth Paltrow
2000 was a year of eye-catching moments at the Oscars, as actors Stone and Parker came to the ceremony dressed as actresses.
Stone, 50, and Parker, 52, co-created the popular animated series South Park and later created the musical The Book of Mormon.
Stone arrived at the 72nd Academy Awards in a pink dress based on a dress Paltrow, 49, wore to the awards the previous year, while Parker donned a green dress, like one worn by Lopez, 52, to the Grammys .
The couple later told The Hollywood Reporter that they ate LSD-laced sugar cubes.
La La Land was mistakenly heralded as Best Picture
One of the most recent controversies occurred at the 2017 awards show, when La La Land was wrongly named Best Picture.
For two minutes and 23 seconds, the 2017 film starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone was believed to have triumphed.
It was soon discovered that the wrong envelope had been given to Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty, who presented the award, and Moonlight was subsequently announced as the true winner.
Adrien Brody gives Halle Berry a surprise kiss on stage
After Adrien Brody won the Best Actor award for his role in The Pianist, he kissed passionately on the lips of actress Halle Berry, who presented the award.
Berry, 55, later revealed the dramatic moment was completely unplanned.
During a later interview, she said she wondered, “What the hell is going on here?”
