Full list of the King’s proclamations in Sussex today

King Charles III is proclaimed the new sovereign of all of Sussex today following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

He was confirmed as national king at Saturday’s accession council.

And the public is now invited to join the proclamations in their area.

  • Lewes: Town Hall at 1 p.m
  • Chichester: Town Hall at 1 p.m
  • Crawley: In front of the town hall at 2 p.m
  • Hayward’s Heath: Mid Sussex Council offices on Oaklands Road at 2pm
  • Bexhill: City Hall at 2.30 p.m
  • Worthing: Town Hall at 2:30pm Hastings: Queen’s Square at 3:00pm
  • Horsham: The car fax at 3 p.m
  • Brighton and Hove: North Balcony of the Royal Pavilion at 3:00 p.m
  • Shoreham: Shoreham Center at 3:30 p.m
  • Eastbourne: The steps of Eastbourne Town Hall at 4pm
  • Hailsham: War Memorial on the High Street at 4pm
  • Uckfeld: On the flagpole in front of the Civic Center at 5:30 p.m

The Queen’s body left Balmoral this morning and traveled to Dundee at 2pm and then to Edinburgh at 4pm.
