Fundraising by the Hastings family following the death of a ‘wonderful’ young woman

THE family of a young woman who died unexpectedly has paid tribute to a ‘wonderful sister, daughter and friend’.

Robynne Seguin, 28, from Hastings, died on July 16 after struggling with her mental health.

Her sister Caitlin Mann said the family was “completely devastated” and that the death was “extremely unexpected”.

Caitlin, 22, said: “Robynne was a dedicated caregiver in Hastings during Covid-19 and was dedicated to caring for and helping people as much as possible, both in their caring careers and in daily life.

“She was above all a caring and loving person, suffused with so much laughter and kindness.

“It was never a dull day when Robynne was around, she was a genuine person who genuinely wanted to help and support everyone around her with her outgoing personality and infectious laugh.”

Now Caitlin and her family have started a Go Fund Me page to raise money for Robynne’s funeral.

She said several people have already asked how they can help.

She said the family “requests prayers for us to find peace during this tragedy.”

Caitlin said: “We want to give Robynne the best possible farewell to her 28th anniversary.

“Any donation, big or small, of support would be greatly appreciated and would put one less worry for our family and especially my mum as I’m sure everyone appreciates how difficult times are at the moment.”

Over £3,700 has been raised since the fundraiser was set up just over ten days ago.

More than 100 people have donated money and some have left loving comments and memories of Robynne.

“So I want to thank you in advance for everything you’ve donated to support Robynne’s retirement.”
