Tom Parker is buried today after sadly passing away last month at the age of 33. The Wanted singer is survived by his wife Kelsey and their two children, who have invited fans of the late star to join them outside of the private memorial service

Fans of the late singer Tom Parker have paid their respects as today is the funeral for singer The Wanted.

It was an emotional scene in London as The Wanted singer’s coffin was driven to church ahead of his private funeral this morning.

As the hearse made its way down the street on Wednesday morning, the sun was shining down as the Bolton-born star made his final journey.

Rules for Tom’s funeral state how the father-of-two will be buried to the same song he was listening to at his death last month, Oasis’ “Live Forever.”

Tom’s close friends and family are expected to attend a private service at Queensway, Petts Wood, south east London this morning, but the late star’s wife, Kelsey, publicly invited fans to line the path to the church, where the service is also taking place is shown on a screen outside.

The father-of-two died on March 30 at the age of 33 surrounded by his family and bandmates after battling an inoperable brain tumor.

Ms Kelsey wrote to fans of the late star on Instagram last week: “Thomas Anthony Parker. There will be a private celebration of life on Wednesday 20th April Join us in Petts Wood from 10am.

“It would be nice if everyone would line the route when we go to our private service. You are then more than welcome to join us outside of the church while the service is being broadcast on screens.”

Kelsey confirmed Tom’s sad passing on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, writing on Instagram: “Tom was the center of our world and we cannot imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.”

Tom received the devastating diagnosis of a brain tumor while his wife Kelsey was pregnant with their second child.

The Bolton-born singer and Kelsey wed in 2018 after meeting at a nightclub in 2009, and they welcomed daughter Aurelia in 2019

The happy couple found out in May 2020 that they were expecting their second child together, with baby Bodhi due later that year.
