Gabby Petito’s mum posted a cryptic message on social media just days after the release of Brian Laundrie’s Notebook confession.

Gabby’s body was found in a remote area of Wyoming on September 19, and a post-mortem confirmed she had been strangled as a manhunt was launched for the TikTok influencer’s partner.

Laundrie’s body was discovered on October 20 at Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park in Florida.

The 23-year-old disappeared after returning from a cross-country road trip without 22-year-old Gabby and was the only suspect in her death.

Nichole used the hashtags “narcissist,” “selfish cowards,” and “justice for Gabby” alongside her post.

Gabby’s mother, Nichole Schmidt, shared a picture with the caption: “Narcissists rewrite history to avoid accountability. You are not crazy.”

The mom used the hashtags “narcissist,” “selfish cowards,” and “justice for Gabby” alongside the image in her post.

This post marks Nichole’s first reply to Laundrie’s notebook, shared with the public a few days ago, which is believed to contain his last words before he took his own life last October.

Federal agents first recovered the notebook from Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park on October 20, 2021.

It was then released by the FBI to Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertolino, and Bertolino has now declassified it.

In the pages of the diary, Laundrie admits to “ending” Gabby’s life and calls the act a “merciful murder”.

Explaining that Gabby was struggling with an injury that would cause her to “wake up in pain,” he wrote that he “mercifully” ended her life because she “wanted it.”

Gabby, 22, had started her journey with Laundrie on July 2nd, 2021

On one page of the book, Laundrie claims Gabby injured herself and was “trembling badly”.

The couple had been traveling across the United States when Gabby was reported missing on September 11 last year after her parents were unable to reach the couple, who videotaped their adventures.

Laundrie disappeared within days and on September 23, four days after Gabby’s strangled body was found, an arrest warrant was issued for him. His remains were discovered in October.

The sun reports that Laundrie wrote in the notebook found how Gabby had fallen into a creek while trying to return to the vehicle in the dark.

In the notebook, he wrote that he “found her panting my name, breathing heavily,” and said “she was freezing cold” and soaking wet.

He detailed carrying her to the car before tripping as his knees buckled and he realized he couldn’t carry her.

He wrote: “I made a fire and spooned it up so close to the heat, it was so thin, had been frozen for too long. When I pulled Gabby out of the water, she couldn’t tell me what hurt. She had a small bump on her forehead that eventually got bigger.

“Her feet hurt, her wrist hurt, but she was cold, she was shaking violently, while carrying them she was making constant noises of pain, lying beside her, she said softly, vacillated between violent shaking, gasping in pain, begging for an end to her pain .

“She fell asleep and I shook her awake because I was afraid that if she had a concussion, she shouldn’t close her eyes.

Gabby’s parents Joe and Nichole recently appeared in a Florida court where they are suing Chris and Roberta Laundrie – Brian’s parents – for allegedly withholding information about their daughter’s death.

The laundry’s attorney has moved that the lawsuit be dismissed.
